Event Description:
The Education Committee will be holding the annual Academic Achievers Luncheon on Monday, March 19 at 12 noon. Sponsored by Outback Steakhouse, the luncheon will be held at Johnston Community College in the Public Safety Building located at 245 College Road in Smithfield turn left at the last entrance.
The purpose of the luncheon is to recognize the academic accomplishments of these top students and give them an opportunity to talk with professionals in our community in their area of interest. We will also hear from current college students on the transition to college life.

The Academic Achievers Luncheon honors the top juniors in the Smithfield-Selma area high schools for their academic success and includes roundtable discussions with area professionals from a variety of occupations. It is a time to celebrate our students hard work and help guide them as they prepare for the next chapter in their lives.
