GROWING JOCO'S FUTURE WORKFORCE 

JOCO WORKS presented by Novo Nordisk is an industry-led collaborative supported by education, business, civic, and government partners created to meet the Johnston County, North Carolina workforce needs of the future. The collaborative will culminate in a curriculum and experienced-based career exposition specifically for 8th grade students. JOCO WORKS will present real-world simulations of available career options and students will have the opportunity to explore fulfilling, high growth career paths. Each hands-on exhibit, both live and virtual, will be presented by top employers in our region and will include sample occupations, general education requirements, and average salaries within the industry. JOCO WORKS is looking for businesses that want to help ignite the flame in our future workforce. If your business aligns with one of our Worlds of Workforce industries and you are interested in participating in this highly engaging and impactful event, call for more information or REGISTER to reserve your spot. Participating businesses must be able to staff their interactive* exhibit for the two-day event. 

*Interactive Activity: A hands-on activity that students can cycle trhough within the 25 minutes time allotment for each World (i.e.: a game, simulation, experiment, etc. that would be appealing and exciting to 8th graders).
