Event Description:
The Smithfield-Selma Chamber Education and Economic Development Committees will be hosting a forum for candidates seeking election to the Johnston County School Board of Education on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Johnston Medical Mall Auditorium in Smithfield.
Candidates will share their vision for the Johnston County Public School System and for education in North Carolina. The eight candidates are vying for 4 seats on the board. This event is open to the public. Please join us on October 18th to learn more about the candidates. Remember to vote on November 8th!
